Bruins in 7....I can't see Chicago having their way with Boston. Were the Blackhawks fans paying attention when Boston took care of Pittsburgh? I just can't see Chicago beating Boston. Bruins are more than sound on defense and can score when needed. Also let's not overlook what Tuuka Rask is doing between the pipes. He's definitely Conn Smythe material and right now has to be the front runner in this postseason. This matchup will be Chicago's toughest yet. Don't underestimate the Bruins...if Chicago does it will be another Boston sweep...
John all you wanna talk about is what the Bruins have done and what they did to your beloved Penguins. What about what the Hawks have done ALL SEASON LONG, plus what they have done to the Wild, Wings and Kings?
Tuuka has been good but guess what Crawford has been better. What will the Hawks do when big bad Chara shuts down Toews? Get someone else to score like they have been doing all postseason.
Hawks will beat the Bruins in 6 because they is no where Boston wins Game 7 in Chicago
You know, I don't think I've seen a team adjust to another team's style like I have with the Blackhawks throughout these playoffs. Not taking anything away from the Bruins, who have really played up to their championship form of 2011. That being said, the Blackhawks are the deepest team the Bruins have faced. They're not a team full of talented crybabies like the Penguins, nor are the facing a fractured locker room like they did against the Rangers, or a team that wets their pants in big moments like the Maple Leafs. Chicago's uncanny adaptation of another team's style couldn't be more noticeable than their last two series against the Red Wings and the Kings. Two completely different styles of the game, yet the Hawks managed to grind it out and take both of those series in big moments. I'm not going to sit here and give you guys a Messier style guarantee for the Hawks lifting Lord Stanley, but I will predict Blackhawks in 7.
