-Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers): The young Kyrie Irving had some nods from the crew to be a top 10 player. However his health has been a concern (played only 59 games last season, did say he has redefined his body), and with a very young Cavs team to lead it should be fun to see if he can stay healthy, and be the leader Cleveland so desperately needs. Can Kyrie ascend to the ranks of the top 10 by mid season? He certainly has the talent, and it should be fun to watch.

-Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers): The "Black Mamba" was mentioned on a list or two but his health going into the season has been a glaring issue. Top 10 or not Kobe Bryant will be an impact player in this league as long as he feels he can play. With that said don't be surprised if he jumps towards the top 5 of our mid season rankings lists...it's Kobe.

-Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat): Our ranker Desmon Palmer (Wade's biggest fan) was deeply hurt, and offended that he was the only one to give Wade a top 10 spot (6th). However it is understood that Wade's health has impacted his game negatively in the eyes of the rankers. Wade barely missed this list, but like Kobe he can come soaring right back. The 3-Time champ has the talent to do so.

-Deron Williams (Brooklyn Nets): Williams is still one of the elite PGs in the game. And his numbers last year were as balanced as they come doing what he can in all phases of his game to lead the BK Nets to the post season. However the rise of other young PGs have forced our hands.

-Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves): When healthy Kevin Love is a top 10 player, and the very best power forward in the NBA. There is no question...however the young phenom has had health issues as he looks for a fresh start going into the 2013-14 season. If Kevin Love stays healthy the double double machine will certainly find his way back into the top 10.
