Five years ago the Blackhawks scored four goals by four different players at the Winter Classic held at Wrigley Field. Those four player were Kris Versteeg, Ben Eager, marty Havalet and Duncan Keith. Currently only two of those four players are on the Blackhawks roster.

So heading into the game Saturday night at Soldier Field, many people were wondering, discussing and hoping that either Keith or Versteeg would score a goal. Therefore they could say they have scored at the United Center, Wrigley Field and Soldier Field.

Well all those who attended the game and got covered in snow were given a reason to cheer in the closing minutes of the second period. Patrick Kane had the puck on the wing and passed it to Versteeg who was in front of the net and snuck it past goaltender Marc-Andre Fluerry.

So Versteeg can now say he has scored in every arena the Blackhawks have played in that is located in the city of Chicago. Now as impressive as that feet is, Steeger can actually top it. If we go back to his AHL days with the Rockford Icehogs.

When the Icehogs visited the Chicago Wolves, who play at the All-State Arena, he scored in that building as well. Therefore Versteeg can say he has scored in every building where major hockey has been played in the City of Chicago.

Click through and see the goals he has scored in each building. Unfortunately I could not find good video of him scoring against the Wolves.
