Dwyane Wade or better known as "Flash" to the NBA universe has been inching toward the top spot for quite some time. It hasn't been easy though with a man known as "The Black Mamba" taking the NBA by storm for years. However the NBA is all about time, and right now is D.Wade's time. Wade is by far the best defender among the top 5, and beyond. His blocking ability, and overall defensive skills make him one of the biggest threats defensively in the NBA. And scoring is something that comes easy to him, getting to the basket at will. Wade has had some of the best offensive highlights we've seen. Since recruiting his superstar friends to form the big three, his scoring numbers have dropped. Still despite injury he managed to have a pretty good season, averaging 22.1 ppg, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. Wade leads the top 5 in field goal percentage (.497 %). Coming fresh off winning a second NBA title, Wade and the Miami Heat will surely be the team to beat in the 2013 season. One concern could be his ailing knee, but with the right rehabing he should be 100% by season's start. Lets see if Wade and his team can start the run of a dynasty.
